The Mad Tea Party – Conceptual

One of the first photoshoots I ever did.  I had just purchased my first DSLR; a Nikon D90.  I had been working at my my first job out of college for a little more than 2 years and decided to make my first big camera purchase after always wanting one but never being able to afford one.  Little did I know that this first purchase would be my first steps down the rabbit hole of photography.

I had read and researched a lot about the Strobist community and this photoshoot was one of my my firsts attempts at it.  Using a single Nikon SB-600 Spotlight setup off camera I created the shots below.  Talk about a learning experience.  Combining aspects of straits photography and Photoshop quickly became one of my favorite things to do as a photographer.
